Indonesia’s Ambassador visits COOPERFRIGU Foods in Gurupi-TO

The COOPERFRIGU FOODS Board of Directors welcomed the honourable visit of the Indonesian Ambassador, Mr. Toto Riyanto, and the esteemed President of FUNDEPEC, Mr. Leandro Stival, to the industry headquarters on the morning of October 9, 2018.

During the visit, Cooperfrigu’s export director, José João Stival Júnior, presented the administrative structure and soon afterwards, together with the Ambassador Mr. Toto Riyanto and the President of FUNDEPEC, Mr. Leandro Stival, gradually presented the productive process of beef industrialization and then the Integrated Production System, SPI. The feedlot allows a control of the production of the raw material in all stages, from the diet of 100% vegetable origin, to the entire process of cattle management, resulting in the supply of standardized animals throughout the year.

“The Indonesian people do not know the famous Brazilian beef. My country has full interest in signing an agreement with Brazil, so that we can initiate imports of beef” said Mr. Tito Riyanto.

Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population today, there are more than 260 million consumers, making the country the largest market for Halal products in the world.
