The president of the Gurupi Meat and Byproduct Producers Cooperative (Cooperfrigu), Oswaldo Stival Junior, participated in BeefExpo, which ends on Thursday, in São Paulo (SP). Cooperfrigu is a member of the Union of the Refrigerating Industries of Bovine, Swine, Poultry, Fish and Tocantins Derivatives (Sindicarnes). The event had an innovative program of activities and the presence of elite animals in auctions and judgments, the market already calls the event “the return of Feicorte”, according to the organizers. The trials, auctions and exhibitions of five of the major zebu and taurine breeds – nelore, guzerá, angus, sindi and senepol – figure as the great differential of the event. But BeefExpo also hosted a forum with CEOs of the largest protein corporations in Brazil, business fair, BeefWorld Award, Best of the Year beef cattle, courses, Beef Management Congresses and Beef 360 °, among others.
