COOPERFRIGU carries out another social action in partnership with SESCOOP

The Cooperar 2018 Cooperative, Social and Environmental Responsibility Program has been developing actions aimed at the benefit of the community in general for over 14 years and in this context has united people and partnerships with institutions that need this support to continue with projects aimed to the well-being of society.

As a result, the Pink October and Blue November Campaign was launched in partnership with the National Cooperativism Learning Service (Sescoop), which began in October, with the purpose of not only making Cooperfrigu employees aware of the importance prevention and early diagnosis against cancer, but also, to awaken the spirit of human cooperation extended to several Gurupi Entities, with that, was made available the delivery of a beautiful T-shirt of the campaign through the delivery of non-perishable food, as well as donation of t-shirts to the patients and servers of the Local Hospital of Gurupi.

The collection resulted in almost one ton of food, which was delivered in the hall of the company, this Friday, 07, being allocated 70% for Women’s League of Prevention and Fight against Cancer and 30% for Institution House Passing Child Citizen.

Cooperfrigu Vice President Tarcízio Goiabeira highlighted how gratifying and enjoyable it is and if more people engage in this struggle, surely many demands will be met and more people will be able to live in dignity.

“Our goal is not to earn status over actions, we do it because we feel good and we have to have that feeling of helping others always, all help is welcome and these institutions will always be open doors to receive them. The best thing to do and work this cooperation over people to form citizens with a collective vision “Tarcizio emphasized.

After thanking for several times the Coordinator of the House of Passage Child Citizen Licemara Cardoso got excited about the importance of social work, which is constantly awakening companies, youth, children, adults to act for the benefit of the disadvantaged.

“Solidary actions like this are very valuable because us, the institutions, cannot work alone and I see these actions of Cooperfrigu as an extremely positive initiative, I hope this will extend to many other companies. That they may be looking for the institutions, knowing the work closely and helping in some way, that would influence the quality of life of patients and children, in the name of the League, I thank Cooperfrigu with all my heart for the food received ” said Clezia Sena.
