Cooperfrigu Foods offers training in microbiological analysis and business management

One of Cooperfrigu’s priorities and the training of its employees in the most diverse sectors of the company, as the search for new knowledge improves daily activities and widens new horizons, and therefore Cooperfrigu in partnership with the National Service of Cooperativism Learning (SESCOOP) enabled the laboratory and quality control collaborators to take a course in microbiological analysis and business management.

Auricélia Cabral, graduated in food engineering from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), and specialized in quality control of animal products by the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), communicated to the participants the importance of microbiological analysis and the standardization of techniques of microorganism counts for the reliability of the tests and product quality in its final result.

All analyzes were carried out in the Cooperfrigu laboratory, reinforcing the methodologies of ISO, which is an International Organization for Standardization and AOAC, a non-profit Scientific Association, methods that are already applied by the company professionals, discussed in theory and practice to add content. The participants had the guidance, supervision and supervision of the instructor during the entire training.

It is noteworthy that the samples and results were hypothetical, without reaching the laboratory routines of the company’s product release analyzes.

For Fernanda Pinheiro dos Santos, who supervised the laboratory, the course brought training and safety to the results, adding wisdom to the quality control, which fully understood the reasons for the collections, why to take samples for the analysis and that everything this process is of great value to the product in the internal and external market, and to the consumer.

“It is noticeable that the collaborators of the laboratory have the practice and the safety of the analyzes that they do and exercise with great tranquility, firmness of movements and procedures, this ensures the credibility of the results that are sent by the quality control.” Said Auricélia Cabral.

The course started on the 23rd, Tuesday and ended on October 27th, totaling 40 certified hours.
